Facility power distribution from the service entrance to the load.
Utility lines stop at the property boundary. Everything past that point, the medium voltage loops, unit substations, switchgear, motor control centers, and the cable that ties them together, is power distribution design, and it decides whether a facility can run its process today and expand it later.
ICPE designs distribution systems for plants, mines, and industrial campuses where loads are large, duty is continuous, and the environment is hard on equipment. Systems are sized for the load that is coming, not only the load on the nameplate today, so the next expansion does not require starting over at the service entrance.
Distribution design carries the studies with it. Load flow, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash results drive equipment ratings and settings rather than arriving after the gear is purchased, which is how mismatched interrupting ratings and unselective tripping get built into a plant.
Work in operating facilities is planned around production. Tie-ins, temporary feeds, and cutover sequences get engineered so that an upgrade lands inside the outage window the plant can actually give.
