Safety starts in the design
The safest hazard is the one that never reaches the field. Arc flash reduction, access and egress, maintainability, and equipment placement are engineering decisions made on purpose, not consequences discovered during construction.
Trained for the sites entered
Mines, refineries, and utility yards each carry their own rules. ICPE field personnel carry the site-specific training those facilities require, including MSHA where the work calls for it, and follow the host's program, not their own preferences.
Energized work is planned, not improvised
Switching orders, clearances, and de-energization sequences get written down and reviewed before anyone touches a device. When work truly must be done energized, the plan and PPE come first.
Contractor oversight in the field
On construction management assignments ICPE holds contractors to the owner's safety program: prequalification, orientations, daily coordination, and stop-work authority that actually gets used.
Working with your program
Most ICPE clients have safety programs and contractor qualification systems of their own. ICPE works inside them, keeps its documentation current, and expect to be held to the same standard as anyone else on site.
